The Fair!!!

Sophie had her first Fair trip yesterday afternoon! She had a blast looking at all the people, visiting the animals, tasting cotton candy and riding the carousel! We went to watch the Shag contest when we first got there and she liked that as much as everything else. She LOVES music and loves to dance! We should have entered her in the contest!

Pumpkin Patch!!!

We went to a Pumpkin Patch last week to pick out a pumpkin for Halloween. Even though this is Sophie's second Halloween it was the first time she got to pick her pumpkin. She looked hard to find the perfect one but finally found it! We tried really hard to get her to sit or stand still long enough for some pictures but (surprise, surprise) we were unsuccessful. Here are some action shots!

Charleston Trip

I had a conference in Charleston the middle of October and Sophie and Jon got to come along. Yia Yia also got to come for a couple of nights which was nice. It was Sophie's first trip to Charleston (besides her Isle of Palms trip) and she had a great time. We went to the Aquarium, played at the beach and the battery. The weather wasn't very cooperative but we still had lots of fun!

Sophie's 1st Birthday Party!!!

Sophie had her first birthday party on Sunday, Sept 20. She had a great time and got lots of great presents! She also got to enjoy cake (again) but made the biggest mess this time! She went straight into the bathtub after digging in and mommy also had to change clothes! She had a blast seeing everyone and playing with all of the other children! Thanks to everyone that came and shared such a special occasion with us!
