Christmas tree

Sophie is really enjoying all of the Christmas decorations this year. She is really interested in the tree and wants to take all of the ornaments off. I actually put the tree in the dining room this year instead of the living room to make it less tempting for her but she still likes to stop in and check things out. So far, we haven't had to rewrap any presents but I'm just waiting...

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We are so thankful to have such wonderful family! We have been blessed this year with so much and we continue to count our blessings everyday! We had lunch with the Taylor's and then Sophie and I (Daddy had to go home to sleep because he had to work that night) went to my parent's house for dinner. Sophie enjoyed all of the wonderful Thanksgiving foods for the first time and had fun playing with everyone. She was exhausted that night after a long day but loved seeing all of her family! Of course, getting her to stand or sit still for any length of time is almost entirely out of the question, so it is difficult to see in the pictures but Ms. Kaye made her dress. It was adorable with a pilgrim and a turkey on it...a perfect Thanksgiving outfit!

Thursday was one of the wonderful days that Jon and I were both off, so we all got to spend some family time. We went to the library and the park. Here are some pictures of Sophie at the park. She loves to slide and liked the big hippopatamus too!

Playing in the Horseshoe!

This week we got to have a picnic with Yia Yia and Uncle Alex on the Horseshoe! Sophie had a great time running around. We played ball, blew bubbles and watched all of the people. We are getting her aquainted with campus early!!! By the way, she can definitely say "Go Cocks", sometimes it is not very clear but we know what she means!

Sophie is really enjoying having a swing outside. She LOVES being outside. She also still loves riding around the yard in her wagon. Callie also enjoys it when we play outside with her.

Halloween Night

On Halloween we went trick or treating in Lawson's neighborhood. Sophie had a good time walking around and playing with Lawson and some other children. We had a wonderful supper and then got to ride on golf carts through the neighborhood for the kids to trick or treat. Sophie, for the most part, had enough by then so she just enjoyed riding. She immediately feel asleep in the car on the way home because she was so tuckered out from all the excitement!

Boo at the Zoo

I am really behind in updating the blog. Sophie has had a fun filled last month! She and Will went to Boo at the Zoo a few days before Halloween and had a great time! Although they are still a little young to really enjoy all the candy and things to do they had a good time watching all the other children. Sophie attempted to get some candy from some of the stations and then proceeded to dump it out of her pumpkin! As you can see she was a ladybug and Will was a monkey! Sophie wasn't a big fan of keeping the hat or wings on so most of the time she went without them. It is still really hard to get a decent picture of her because she is so busy!
