Christmas

I am very behind on updating the blog as we have been extremely busy!!! We had a wonderful Christmas this year! We got to spend time with friends and family and Sophie really enjoyed herself. We celebrated with different sides of the family throughout the whole week of Christmas. Sophie still doesn't understand Chritmas yet but she loved all the attention and of course the toys that Santa (and everyone else) brought. We went to the children's service at church on Christmas Eve and she did really well (she usually goes to the nursery instead of the service). Chritmas day was busy but wonderful! Sophie started off by spending the morning with mommy and daddy, then all her grandparents and Uncle Alex came for breakfast and more presents!!! After a short nap, we headed to the Gregory family Christmas and then to the Lacoste's. Unfortunately, Jon was not with us because he had to work that night but we atleast got to spend the morning with him. We were exhausted by the end of the day but we enjoyed every minute of it! Sorry about the number of pictures below.

Edventure

Last week Jon and I took Sophie to Edventure for the day! She is a little small for most of the exhibits but don't tell her that. She had a good time and enjoyed playing and looking at everything. She has developed such a little personality and I love watching her play and figure things out for the first time! Can't believe she just turned 15 months old! Time is flying...

She loved the music room...it was LOUD

Christmas tree

Sophie is really enjoying all of the Christmas decorations this year. She is really interested in the tree and wants to take all of the ornaments off. I actually put the tree in the dining room this year instead of the living room to make it less tempting for her but she still likes to stop in and check things out. So far, we haven't had to rewrap any presents but I'm just waiting...

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We are so thankful to have such wonderful family! We have been blessed this year with so much and we continue to count our blessings everyday! We had lunch with the Taylor's and then Sophie and I (Daddy had to go home to sleep because he had to work that night) went to my parent's house for dinner. Sophie enjoyed all of the wonderful Thanksgiving foods for the first time and had fun playing with everyone. She was exhausted that night after a long day but loved seeing all of her family! Of course, getting her to stand or sit still for any length of time is almost entirely out of the question, so it is difficult to see in the pictures but Ms. Kaye made her dress. It was adorable with a pilgrim and a turkey on it...a perfect Thanksgiving outfit!
